The End of an Era...Kind of.

Guys, I've done something drastic. I'm officially stepped down from raiding, at least for the moment.

I don't think this fact has truly set in for me yet. Raiding for me has been that thing I've always done, it's what has been the consumer of the bulk of my in-game time since I began playing "seriously" back in the Burning Crusade. While I do enjoy a good reputation grind, the hunt for those elusive rares, and playing dress up with my latest alt, raiding has always been where I've sent the vast majority of my energy. Why on Azeroth would I remove myself from something I love so wholeheartedly, even temporarily?

The answer to this question is rather complex, but the TL; DR version is simply: Burnout.

I've been raiding full tilt for a bit over a year now, much longer if you add in my prior years of raiding. I came back into the raiding scene shortly after the initial nerf to Firelands after a lengthy forced break and haven't had a whole lot of down time since. Mists of Pandaria, while fantastic on so many levels, has proven to be an incredibly overwhelming experience for me. Between the rush to level 90 - which was great fun and one rush that I'm unlikely to repeat - and the reputation grinds and the mad hurry to get geared up, get through this raid, loot dramas, fight this boss, show up every night, oh crap we need to recruit, do up the videos, write some posts, run this, organize that, solo all the things, raid raid raidsmashfaceonkeyboardginger shamanistic raaaaaage...it has kind of all piled up on me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware that I'm somewhat masochistic when it comes to this game and all of my projects. I'm everywhere at once, and I have a tendency to take everything upon myself. Is it necessary that I be the keeper of combat logs, maker of pixelated kill videos, manager of the guild's website, and the one who is first to jump up and say "I'll do it!" whenever the guild needs recruitment forum posts? Absolutely not, but I've always enjoyed doing all that because some of those things need to be done anyways, and I like to make it so that my guild may have nice things. There's also absolutely no reason why I should be the only person to have a hand in the Twitterland Raiding site, but I have that terrible habit of taking it all on by myself. Making guides on this blog or videos for Youtube isn't mandatory for enjoyable game play, but I do it anyways because I know that there are a few select folks who enjoy seeing that sort of thing. The things mentioned in this paragraph are all things I highly enjoy. I do not believe that my issues lay within all of my projects, but rather in one aspect of my favorite pastime.

For the past several months, logging on to raid has felt like more of a chore than something I looked forward to. Instead of thinking to myself "Yes! It's raid night!" my thought processes were more along the lines of "Fuck, I have to raid tonight." This shift in the way I thought about my evening activities were brought on by a number of things, things I shan't go into detail at this point in time, but let's just say I'm not very happy with this change.

Needless to say, my negative way of thinking has impacted me on several levels. Where I was hyper aware of what was going on in the raid, I tend to find myself on auto-pilot, even on new encounters where such a thing can be incredibly hazardous to a boss kill. Where I was once able to easily joke and bullshit with my raid mates, I'm finding myself to be grumpy and resentful. Where I was once relaxed, I'm finding myself feeling anxious and often end up with stomach aches and massive tension headaches. Raiding, for as much as I love the thrill of seeing a new boss fall, love pushing myself to perform on the next level, love getting that new weapon upgrade...it just, it doesn't feel right anymore. It feels bad. I don't enjoy having something that I adore so much feel so wrong.

Change is absolutely needed, so it is with a heavy heart and an "aw crap, this sucks" look on my face, I am removing myself from the raiding scene for now. I'm unsure if this will be a permanent change, but it is most certainly one that shall remain for the time being. Whether I'll return with a renewed vengeance in a few weeks, a few months, a few tiers, or a few years, you can bet your butt that I'll come out swinging harder than ever.

So, what now? Why am I bothering to write this post at all? Well for starters, this post is me working through a massive knot that's been building in my belly for quite some time. My thoughts about stepping down have stricken me with quite a bit of internal conflict, and in a way I just needed to get it down in writing. Like most bloggers, I have that need to just get crap off my chest, and I prefer to do it in my own little realm of the internet. This post is also in part to inform my readers that, despite me removing myself from one of my main activities, I do plan on remaining quite active in the game. Saz will not be laying down her weapons anytime soon, but she will definitely be taking a bit of time to hit up the spa and relax her weary muscles.

What can you expect of me in the future? A lot, I hope. It is my deepest wish to get back into the loop with the lovely blogging community, as it feels like I have been neglecting you all for ages. I also hope to start doing more content videos, be it guides, soloing, or random crap I happen to be doing. I have plans that will hopefully breathe new life into the Twitterland Raiding project, and goals for both in game and out of game growth on a personal and social level. As per usual, I plan to take on a crapload of projects. Without raiding on the schedule though, I hope to bring these projects to you all, and the greater WoW community, both more efficiently and with better quality.

As you can see, I have a lot of hopes, a lot of plans. In this apparently post-apocalyptic world I shall be making a point to begin anew. Perhaps not so much anew as bringing about a massive turning point that should hopefully bring about more happiness for at least myself, if not those around me as well. That's the ultimate goal: to create something(s) that not only make me happier, but to also bring some happiness to my fellow internet friends. After all, happiness breeds happiness, and negativity is always sure to be a continuous downward spiral.

Let's all keep on swingin'. Here's to new leaves being turned over, new projects, new horizons, and a soon to be new year.

OMG Projects

I am tired. So very, very tired. Why am I tired? Because I've been rather busy. Busy I have been with some of the most fun and worth it things to have been busy with.

For those of you unaware, I have recently started up another little project. This project is called Twitterland Raiding, you may have heard of it recently thanks to word of mouth (aka retweets) on Twitter and a certain post on WoW Insider. If you're not familiar with the TLR forums yet, it's a place where you can get like-minded folks together to raid non-current content. So far we've had a blast and I highly suggest you join up with us.

I have to admit that I was under some assumption that TLR wouldn't grow quite so fast, though why I didn't think it would explode like it has is beyond me. After all, this is the Twitter/Blogging/general WoW population that we're talking about here. Needless to say, the raids and streams of new site applicants has kept me extremely busy over the past week or so. My head is spinning, my eyes are droopy, and I couldn't be more excited to see so many people come together. I really must thank everyone who has helped to spread the word about Twitterland Raiding. It is my deepest hope that everyone who joins us manages to find a raid and have some fun because really, I've personally have had a blast so far.

Another thing you should check out is Sleepy Hams public Mumble. This isn't a project of mine, but Vitaemachina has been hard at work with providing the Twitter community with an open Mumble service. It's pretty awesome. Good people, crazy conversations, definitely recommend it!

This past Sunday I was also a guest on the podcast Group Quest. You should check it out. It was apparently deemed their best episode ever, or something of that nature. It was good fun, we discussed some rather serious topics, and I hope that it's as enjoyable for you to listen to as it was for me to participate.

On top of all this craziness, in game there are three holidays going on. I still have yet to find time to farm up a second lantern pet to make my money back, let alone farm up two flamingo mounts (one for Saz, one for selling). I doubt I'll be able to get my Darkmoon bear mount this faire, but I'm still getting those dailies done on Saz for future purchases + reputation.

Did I also mention that I've been doing the recruitment thing for my guild? I'm not responsible for actual /g invites or spamming Trade/General with guild ads thankfully, but I've taken over the task of forum hound. Good times, eh?

Tired Sazzy is tired. However, I couldn't be more please with how things are progressing. Another week or two of insanity and I think everything will slow down, smooth out, and be completely worth all of this effort. I may slow down again on *some* of the blog posting, but knowing me you will still get more than regular posts from me.

While I have you here and I'm plugging links like it's my job, you should check out my Facebook page. It's nothing too fancy, but I'm trying to keep it updated with any posts and projects that I do. If I don't mention it on here or on Twitter, or if you miss it (I know I miss a lot of things because of how fast Twitter moves but catch it somehow on Facebook), it will more than likely be posted on that page as well.

With that all said, I'm going to go take a breather. By that I mean I'm going to go sit down and do some class/spec research that I've been meaning to do on resto shamaning, retadinning, and roguing. Yes, I'm making up words now but you probably understood me anyways : P

Until next time, be good. *pinches cheek*

Operation Overkill

I am, if you haven't figured this out by now, someone who likes her projects. Often these projects are me biting off far more than I can chew, and naturally this leads to many things being left unfinished, or left to be finished at a much later date than planned.

Currently I have two major projects left unfinished on my shaman: Loremaster and Insane in the Membrane. Unfortunately I'm stuck on Loremaster until I raise my goblin rep for the Insane, at least to the point where the goblins decide that I'm no long a 'kill on sight' target. While I hope to achieve both of these titles prior to Mists of Pandaria, I am once again dragging my heels and looking for ways to procrastinate. Which brings me to my next big distracting project: Operation - Pimp My Alt.

O-PMA is more or less what it sounds like. I currently have 7 85s and I'd like to raise that number to 10 before MoP releases. Not only do I want to raise that number, but I'd like to get all of my alts into 378 or better gear in at least their main specs, if not their alt specs as well. Why would I do this? Simply put, some aspects of me lean towards being a completionist and I absolutely hate that I have all of these incomplete alts.

I know that this plan seems pretty far fetched, especially when you factor in the fact that I still will be writing from time to time on both blogs, hope to remain at least semi active in certain forums (which I've been failing at lately), raid full time on at least my shaman, keep my druid up to par, and achieve both of the time consuming titles mentioned previously.

So how far do I have to go? Well, let's just say I have a LOT of work ahead of me, but let me lay out where I stand right now. Here's a fairly complete list of all the projects that I've put onto my plate, at least in game.

-------

Saz - Raiding full time (2-3 days a week). Loremaster: Eastern Kingdoms/Outland Complete, a few zones in Kalimdor left to complete (mostly the areas involving goblins), most zones in Northrend 2/3 complete, Vashjir left to complete in Cataclysm. Insane: Goblin reps (most still hated after Bloodsail Admiral was obtained), Darkmoon Faire (revered), Ravenholt (honored).

Kelebek - 378 gearing complete, though I have been running LFR for filler pieces and heroics to cap her Valor Points.

Warlock - 378 gearing nearly complete. Just need helm, neck, shoulders, and a trinket. Number output needs tweaking.

Priest - 378 shadow gearing nearly complete. Just need shoulders, cloak, a trinket, and a ring. Disco is a bit up in the air. Dps number output needs some tweaking.

Hunter - 378 gearing complete. Still running some heroics and/or LFR so that she may buy Kelebek boots. Dps number output needs some tweaking.

Death Knight - 378 gearing is far from complete. Dps numbers are okay despite gear. Currently sporting a mix of dps and tank gear. Would like both sets for instances (dps) and soloing (tank).

Paladin - 378 gearing has hardly begun. Currently a mix of greens, blues, and easy to gain epics for her ret spec. Holy set is mostly questing items (greens) and a few 333s. Needs Magister's Terrace for her Orb of Sin'dorei (tradition for me). Must research proper use of CDs, but numbers are okay

Rogue - Level 70. Must level cap and gear while continuing to pick pocket so that my shaman may get her Insane title.

Warrior - Level 45. Must level cap and at least gear for arms or fury.

Mage - Level 40. Must level cap and gear up for at least arcane since I have no plans to ever raid her.

-------

The plan for O-PMA is to go down my list of alts and dedicate a week (drop luck permitting of course) to their gearing and to the research/practice of my skills with their particular spec/class (more than likely dps only). I ultimately hope cut down on my impulsive "need" to run half a billion heroics while still trying to squeeze in LFRs, actual raiding, and real life shenanigans like eating and sleeping. If I finish an alt early in the week, the rest of my play time will be dedicated towards the various reputation grinds that my shaman still needs. With some luck I hope that this project will not only be successful, but a fun way to get to know the various classes in my arsenal.

I know that it sounds like I'll be playing 24/7, but rest assured that I will be trying to make sure that it isn't quite as hectic as it sounds and that I will be taking plenty of time away from the game to read my books and watch various TV shows on Netflix. I'll be doing my best to not burn myself out on the game, since I would like to continue to play it for a long time yet.

Outside of O-PMA and my various blogging projects, I plan on beginning a few soloing adventures on Saz, mainly Wrath of the Lich King content if possible. I'm not quite sure how far I'll get with this venture, but it should be interesting to see what I can down now as enhancement. If things go well, I hope to write up a few quick guides on soloing Wrath bosses, and maaaaybe videos of me completing such antics if I can find a damn editing program that will work for me. On top of that, I hope to write more enhancement based guides in general, though that's a bit of a different topic!

-------

So what do you thing, am I absolutely insane? Do you have any crazy goals like this that you're hoping to pull off before the next expansion is upon us?

Another Project Update Post

It's been a busy week thus far for me in the land of the internet, one that will hopefully be fruitful. Even so, I've really been struggling with trying to throttle back on the post overload. Besides my personal RL projects that I have going on, here's a short list of the WoW/Blog related projects and their standings.

Existing Projects
- Project OA: Still hanging out near the waste basket. The possibility of this project getting completed is depleting daily.
- Project Jenesee: Aka Body and Soul. Still benched. If all goes well this week though, I may have a way to get some progression on her and her storyline.
- Guides: I probably won't be putting out too many more of these unless I'm specifically asked. Most of these are done for a little Warlock friend of mine, and they're more or less done by request. If you'd like a guide written up by me, by all means ask and I'd be happy to spend some time working on that for you!
- The Scepter Quest: Again, if all goes well this week, I may have a way to get back onto my WoW account and complete this quest line! If that does indeed happen, expect to see a few posts on my progression through that epic event.
- Milly: Assuming that schedules line up, we may actually see her project come to life in the next month or so.

New Projects
- Hoarders: Azeroth Edition: This is my new blog project, and I'm very excited about it! Expect to see weekly* installments for this topic.

For convenience sake I'll be putting up links to the "big" articles/guides that I write up, and they shall be located under either "Hoarders: Azeroth Edition" or "Saz's Guides". Both of these sections will remain located in the left hand column of this blog. Now that I have a new layout, they can be found to the right ; )

*Weekly posts shall be made assuming that I manage to get my paws on a stable internet connection. If I fail in that attempt, you can expect to see them at least bi-weekly.

As far as other postings are concerned, I will probably continue to add in random rambling posts and opinion posts when I get the itch. Someday I will have a more organized site that will contain an area for Saz babble, another for my guides and articles, and another for even guest posts! For now though, I will try to sort things to the best of my abilities to make this place a bit easier for you all to navigate.

-----

Updates regarding myself and that which is Azeroth.

Well, last night I ordered myself an external hard drive. Yeah, I'm going to be laggy as all get out still, but at least I should be able to get my account back up and running. I'm reeeeally hoping that running WoW off an external hard drive will work. If it does (please, oh please do!) I'll be able to finish up the Scepter Adventure, obtain the Bloodsail Admiral title, grind out a few more reputations before they poof, farm some new pets on my Hunter, and be able to work on Jenesee. I've been running on a trial account to talk with my online friends, but it just isn't the same...

The upside of bothering with the trial account (these are really quite horrible to play on, I've decided) is that I've gotten a chance to gander at some of the new changes. Leveling from 1-20 is incredibly quick and easy compared to how it used to be. Starting out as a Hunter now comes with a pet, you can get cat form as a Druid at level 8, and Warriors are far less boring now at a little level. One downside that I've come across: I'm all about leveling semi-hybrid with my specs...the new system stops you from that. Luckily the spec bonuses more or less make up for that. There's been a few other negative changes that I've heard about, such as the level at which you now learn how to conjure water with as a Mage (upside, apparently they give you the ability to teleport to ALL cities at a rather low level, as opposed to the old system of 'seek and learn' at various levels). Hunter focus isn't all that bad at a low level...I can see management being slightly problematic at level 80, but it shouldn't be too horrible.

Overall, from what I've seen so far 4.0.1 is pretty slick. Still a bit sad that it's too large for my current hard drive, but what can you do? The elemental invasion event is kinda cool, though I did get nuked pretty bad by some fire elementals on my trial feral Druid and the earthquakes, while charming at first, are beginning to become as obnoxious as "The ice crystal has melted!" spam that happened a few years ago.

Anywho, that's about all I have to say for now! Sorry again for the lack of shiny pictures, expect more of those in the next few posts!

Updates!

Once again two weeks have somehow flown by despite my being bored out of my gourde due to lack of internet time. Thankfully I've managed to keep myself semi-busy with a small list of WoW-related projects. Here's a quick run down of what I've been up to!

 ---

First up we have articles. The first of several that I've been working on is posted below this particular post. How to Become a Raider is actually a three part article and I wrote it with a friend of mine in mind. Parts two and three of this particular guide will probably be up either tomorrow or the day after.

I have five total articles/guides in the works right now, though only three are "completed" at this point in time. I hope to have these all reformatted (I highly recommend to NOT use Notepad if you ever plan on transferring something to a different medium...it's not a happy time) with links active in the next few days.

Now, keep in mind that I have been working on these articles sans an internet connection or access to WoW post 4.0.1. If there are any mistakes or information I've missed, please say something! I'd like these buggers to be as useful and accurate as possible, and sadly I'm well aware of the fact that I'll miff something up along the lines due to my currently patchy online access.

---

Next on our list of fun things that Saz has been working on is my video! Prior to leaving this last time I managed to transfer all of my old screen shots from my external hard drive over to my laptop (hey, if WoW can't fit, may as well stuff this shell with pictures right?!) and uh, let's just say that I have a few. 17,438 at the last count actually, with only a few duplicates. Honestly there would probably be a few more, but thanks to several viruses and one melted hard drive the number was lowered a bit!

Anyways, I wanted to do something with those screen shots, so I kind of did a memorial video. Despite a few minor formatting issues, I'm rather fond of it. You can go check out Reflection over on my Youtube page.

---

The Jenesee Project - I've been doing some minor work on the Jenesee story line, but for now this project is basically halted thanks to 4.0.1. I'll explain why in a bit. Regardless of this project's temporary delay, I've been doing some much needed character development and will be doing some research during my stay.

---

Milly Bays - No idea where this project currently stands. Possibly more on this later.

---

The OA Project - Still on the edge of the recycle bin due to computer issues. This five part project may never see completion, especially since the original idea behind it needs to be completed before December 7th...I don't see this happening unless some sort of miracle happens. Sad day batman...sad day indeed.

---

Mmm, that's it project-wise I think. So, this whole issue with me having to postpone or even think about tossing some projects out...simply put, my laptop and computer luck sucks. No lies. OA is postponed thanks to a blown CPU that isn't replaceable, Jenesee is postponed due to the fact that my laptop only has a 40g hard drive and thanks to 4.0.1 WoW no longer fits no matter how much I strip out of my machine (hence why I had been using Notebook to write my articles in instead of Microsoft Word, which would make things 10x easier. I had completely stripped out Microsoft Office in hopes to make a bit more room, but in the end it simply wasn't enough). It's rather frustrating to be held back by silly things like CPUs and hard drive space, but I'm resourceful, even if I am a bit tapped out at the moment. Much like how low fps has actually helped me in a weird way become a better player in WoW, I'm sure these set backs will somehow shape me into some more clever beast in the future : P

So yes, for now my in game experience is limited and there's unfortunately no time frame as to when I'll make my return to Azeroth. As I said earlier, if you have anything to add or correct to any of my guides, please say something. Thanks to my wonky circumstances I'm certain to miss a few large key points no matter how many times I reread these things or how much digging I do.

I <3 feedback.

I suppose that's all for the moment. More to come after I've slept a bit!

Patch 4.0.1

Ahhhh patch day. How I look forward to all of your changes, yet dread how much space you take up.

That's right, today is officially patch day. The new talents system goes live, as does reforging, the changing of stats (ArP -> Crit, Sp -> Int, etc), our spell books will look completely different, we can track multiple things now, and our new glyph system will come into play...along with a very nice list of other things that are being implemented.

While this is all incredibly exciting (really, I think as soon as I can I'm going to go pet farming on my hunter), I'm sitting here wondering about what I can strip from my laptop's memory in order to fit this rather hefty patch. Most of my images have been backed up, so I could easily dump most of that, but I doubt that alone won't come close to giving me the space this patch may require. So far I've pulled out Warcraft III and Warcraft: Frozen Throne (I was nearly finished with Frozen Throne >.<), and even that hasn't given me enough download room. Microsoft Office, I think you're next. Back to the days of relying on Notebook! Sigh. I wonder if there's anyone else who runs on horribly outdated machines (not by choice) that are having to scramble to try to find somewhere to put these epic new changes. Ah well, such is life!

In other news, I'm still online (obviously) and this has let me do a few things. For one, I've been tinkering a bit with Project Jenesee. I haven't been doing any writing in the past few days, but I have kind of worked out how I'd make Jenesee and her sister, Gypsy, look for the story. I'm not 100% on their gear yet, and that may change later on depending on the different gear/gear sets I come across, but I am rather sure on how they look facially in game at least. I've also managed to get Gypsim up to the massive level of 5 in my free time, so I'll have a rather useless armory link up for her in the Jenesee blog soonish! In hindsight I almost wish that I had rolled these two on a role playing server just for interaction with other characters, but Hyjal was just too convenient. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more work done on these two prior to having to finally go offline.

So yeah, babbling. I do it a lot.

Here are the current images of Jenesee and Gypsy. Think more of later on in the storyline, where the actual juicy and entertaining bits will finally come into play!

I really love both of these item sets. I may go for an old(er) school set of 'lock tier for Gypsy, but for now the current tier 10 works well for her I think. I'm sure the gear will change as the story progresses, but for now these are my "official" placeholders, I guess you could say.

Yes, they're gingers. Learn to love it! How can you have a warlock that isn't a ginger? (Ginger love!!!)

*Ahem* Anyways...yeeeah! Hopefully if all goes well, more on the Scepter quest line later on tonight! If not, well, just know that I will be a sad panda. A very, very sad panda. Those book pieces are reeeeally heavy, and by that I mean they take up too much space in my already limited inventory after all. That, and I'd love to see the end of this quest line, pronto ; )

Okay, enough almost pointless babble. Time to strip!
...by that I meant this laptop. Dirty people.

Videos

G4's The MMO Report kind of made me giggle a bit. It's also the MMO Report that I've been waiting on for months now about Cataclysm's release date, but of course I've known for quite a few days now thanks to WoWInsider. I'm kind of enticed by Star Wars: Old Republic despite the fact that I've never been a huge Star Wars fan...perhaps I'll give it a go eventually, just to shake things up a bit.

I saw this video a while back on some of the zone and graphic changes happening in WoW. I'd also recommend checking out Reznik's other videos. He seems to do a lot of, erm, exploiting (which I do not recommend doing), so if you've ever been curious about how GM Island really looks, or what it's like in the unfinished version of the Emerald Dream, take a look at this guy's profile.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of WoW based music. By WoW based I mean that this music is written and/or performed by actual factual WoW players. Some specialize in parodies, some do original works. While I've been a fan of Gigi and Nyhm for quite some time now, lately I've really been getting into Abandonation and especially Sharm. Check these guys out. If you enjoy WoW related media, these folks shouldn't disappoint!

Eventually I'd really like to get into machinima. What is machinima? Well, it's more or less you taking WoW (it's scenery, characters, etc) and turning it into a video. This video may be a music video, or it may have a story base to it much like a normal movie would. There are many talented machinima artists out there, but my current favorite is Quix0tica. Definitely have a look at her work if you're at all interested in WoW machinima.

For a full list of my current youtube favorites, head over here. I'm always looking for new inspiration, so if you have anyone new for me to check out, let me know! And yes, that is my youtube page...hopefully sometime in the next few months it'll contain videos that aren't just favorites, but actually made by me.

Project Update
- Milly has a voice, and it's cute! Hopefully she'll be making her official debut in the next month or so.
- Jenesee didn't get any work done on her today, and possibly won't see any further progress tomorrow either. Updates on her may need to wait a few weeks, depending on how long I'm offline for.
- That's it for right this second. The list may look short, but it's keeping me busy! I'm rather excited about these two projects, and I can't wait to see them develop and see the finished products.

That's all for now!

Fail? Possibly.

http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/community/contests/writing2010/

How did I miss this! Bah, damn being offline.

Anyways...uhhhh right! Body and Soul (the Jenesee Project) is live, but I don't know if I completely like it yet. I ended up not leaving when expected, and had some time to work with Jenesee a bit. There's also not a whole lot of content so far, but expect that to fill up sometime in the next month or so. You know, whenever I get the chance to come back on and dump all the material I've written up online : P

Kind of random, but the animations for the camel mount? Win. He's ploppy and gross, and I absolutely have one! Camel!!!

You may see a little gnome in the post below this one. She's Milly Bays. No you cannot have her, yes she's for an upcoming project. You *might* eventually see that one pop up in here, but for now, just "ooh" and "aah" at her cuteness.

News on the scepter quest! Today we managed to both finish off the quest involving the 500 pound chicken. Go go epic recipe! I decided to keep mine, since I like collecting things. After having done this, we ventured off to BWL to gather a part of our Draconic book and to begin the red portion of the three part quest line. Well, we both got our book bits, but sadly only one of us was able to complete the quest offered for the red line. So, off we go to BWL again so I can complete it, and also for more Elementium Ore. Noooo fun! *Makes a grumpy face at BWL*

Next we went into MC to try and retrieve the last part of the Draconic book. Once again, only one of us was able to loot it. I gotta kill that bugger again! Oh well, I needed more Sulfuron Ingots and Blood of the Mountains for my legendary mace anyways! Rep of course is always a plus too.

Scatter brained entry from a scatter brained mind. Fun, eh?

Projects

I had promised that this blog would not only be able my random babblings and adventures, but also about my many projects. So here's a bit of a teaser of what I will be working on while I'm back in the world where internet ceases to exist, and what you may possibly come to expect sometime in the next month or two.

First off is Project OA. I'll leave it in it's cryptic form for right now, since it is faaaaarrr from finished. This was the project that I had originally intended on getting the rest of my material for during this past week, but sadly due to a CPU issue on the computer I normally use for WoW, I got zero of the screen shots needed to complete this rather large, four part video project. Perhaps if the computer gets repaired this project will be able to be completed prior to the Cataclysm release date (which was the intent), but if not, this particular project may see a full revamp/re-imagining or will just be scrapped.

Next up, I'd like you to meet Jenesee. I will soon be starting a project that revolves completely around her, but as to what that project really is...I'm going to be leaving you in the dark on that one till I launch the start of it ;)

I'll also be starting up a few minor writing projects over the next few weeks, though they probably won't be WoW related, thus a bit out of place here in this particular blog. If it's anything relevant though, I'll be sure to share it.

That's about it for this particular update. Nothing was accomplished in game today, other then some good ol' sitting around jabbering with friends. Now it's time to hit the road, get "home", and get to work on some of these projects. More hopefully in a week or two!
