Every year around this time of year (January 22 through February 12) the people of Azeroth honor their elders. We shouldn't need a specific period of time to honor our elders, for without them there wouldn't be an us, but it is rather nice to get out, see the world, and give respect to those who came before us.
Like most elders, these guys give you goodies in the form of coins for visiting them during the Lunar Festival. These coins can be turned in to certain vendors to get some rather fun items, items that I think any hoarder would love to have in their collection. I'll only be highlighting a few of the items that you can get during this holiday, s if you would like a complete guide on how to find all of the elders and the achievements that you can gain from this event, please visit Wowhead's guide.

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Transmogrify Me Cap'n!
Transmogrification: the ability to transform one's current gear in such a way that one can make a current piece of gear look as if it was really another piece of gear (of the same item type).
This new fangled thing called transmogrification (or transmog/mogging/trans/whatever else people call it these days) is going to be the new thing to do come 4.3. Why? That's easy, because finally the players are given a good degree of customization when it comes to their characters. Sure we don't get dyes or anything fancy like that yet, but with transmogrification a player will be able to transform their current piece of gear or item set to look like another piece of gear or item set.
Example: You can transmog Tusked Shoulderpads into Passive Resistor Spaulders, but you'd keep the stats of Tusked Shoulderpads.
So if that tasty upgrade that you finally looted doesn't match the rest of your gear, you're in luck! Come 4.3 you can fix that with a little bit of gold and a visit to your local Ethereal Transmog Specialist.
Generally for H:AE I like to list things out for people. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on what side of the fence you're looking in from) the gear database is HUGE. Honestly I don't have the time nor sanity to go through every set available. However, there are several bloggers and sites out there who have been working on projects that focus on just that; categorizing and putting together great sets so players don't have to spend years wading through Wowhead, hoping to find that they're after.
Once upon a time I did actually attempt to put together a weekly/bi-weekly series focusing on gear sets and in game "costumes" that people may enjoy. Some of you may remember the few scant posts I did for the series "The Rack," which did a few profession sets along with a highlight of all of the shaman tier. Then I'm not quite sure what happened. Regardless, I'm not all that great of a source for your transmog needs. You know who is though? The blogs and websites I'm about to link. The people behind these sites have done some fantastic works, so please check them out if you're in need of that perfect Blood Elf mage RP set or if you're curious about all the different leather items available.
World of Wardrobes - First on the list is World of Wardrobes. While you could probably search for many of these items through Wowhead as well, sometimes that search ends up being a bit clunky because stats and level requirements. World of Wardrobes simplifies that. Sin hasn't cataloged everything in game yet, but she's well on her way. You can also find Sin on Twitter @Worldofwardrobe and @sinfullysweet_
Disciplinary Action - That one disco priest is at it again! This time around she's provided and incredibly solid list of several different gear sets, all broken down into iLevel brackets. So far she has completed the cloth and mail collections, so definitely look for the plate and mail versions sometime in the near(ish) future! Find her on Twitter @discopriest
Orcish Army Knife - Generally the goal of someone who is putting together a transmog list is to make things match. Rades for the most part doesn't follow that train of thought. If you're after some serious clown suits, definitely check out the various posts Rades has made on his site with the tag 'Transmog'. If you care to sta...track down Rades on Twitter, you may find him @_rades
A Sunnier Bear - Are you a druid looking for druidy related gear? Sunnier has put together not one, but two wonderful posts for druid-related gear things. If you want to see the actual outfits, check out this post. If you're after those pretty sticks, definitely check out this post. If you're interesting in seeing what Sunnier has to tweet about, you can find her @SunnierBear
Disenchanting Azeroth - Looking for weaponry of various sorts? This site just may be able to help you out. Everything is shown on this site by breaking them down into charts that let the visitor visualize which expansion and roughly which "tier" the weapon comes from within that expansion pack, and then follows up those charts with excellent descriptions of certain pieces of weaponry. At the end of each post you can find a complete list of the weapons displayed in that post with links to Wowhead that will enable you to track down the drop point for your item of interest, assuming that DE Azeroth hasn't pointed it out earlier in the post. You can find Disenchanting Azeroth on Twitter @deazeroth
Mog-My-Gear - Looking for a bit more of a custom look? Mog-My-Gear just may be able to help! This site already has some pretty neat sets on display, but if they don't have something that you're looking for they invite you to email them with your requests. There's definitely a couple of sets displayed on that site that gets me more than excited for transmog to go live!
WoW Roleplay Gear - Stylize yourself with the help of the gallery over at WoW Roleplay Gear. The galleries on this site are rather extensive and well put together, so definitely give them a look-see. For the latest news and updates on the site, you may follow them on Twitter @WoWRoleplayGear
Revive and Rejuvenate - Angelya over at R&R has now done several posts pertaining to the new transmog features. She's done a few posts to help fellow druids (and potentially rogues) find their perfect gear set(s), breaking things down into tier sets, dungeon and raid sets, pvp sets, crafted leathers (leatherworking), and green quality leathers. She also has a nice little list of folks who have transmog posts/lists that I may not have listed here. You can finder her on Twitter @_angelya
Warcraft Hunter's Union - Looking for hunter tier? Hop on over to your favorite hunter resource site and check out their post on the hunter PvE gear. Fairly basic, but it gets the job done.
Tengen's Blog - Are you a paladin who is at a loss where to find gear to transmog? Tengen's blog is where you can find it. While his collection seems to be a bit of a work in progress, the item sets that are already up are absolutely fantastic. Not only does he display gear sets, but he goes through weaponry, shields, cloaks, tabards, and even mounts that match the different sets as well. Very in depth, incredibly well put together.
Kirina's Closet - While Kirina's Closet doesn't have transmog necessarily in mind, this site has long been around for the WoW RP fashion fan. Kirina has some wonderful RP sets, and I'm sure she has something for you in there somewhere. Check her out on Twitter @kirinascloset
WoW Insider's World of Wardrobe - Another one of Anne Stickney's (Twitter: @shadesogrey) wonderful WoW Insider projects. Once a week she brings you a new post covering various tier sets and set look-a-likes. Get your weekly dose of transmog needs.
WoW:Fashion - A great collection of different gear sets and possible transmogging ideas. This was the site that I actually got the idea (and drop help) for Kelebek's soon to be transmogged set! I just did a few tweaks so that it'd be 100% to my liking, and there you have it! Excellent site, just like all the others.
Blog Celebrities - Would you like to dress up as your favorite blog/twitter celeb? Now you can! Whether you long to look like the PvP master Cynwise (Cynwise's Battlefield Manual/@wowcynwise), the academically minded Perculia (Flavor Text/Wowhead/@Perculia), Loremaster Rades (Orcish Army Knife/@_rades), the raid extrodinaire Vidyala (Manalicious/@_vidyala), or that one silly little disco priest (Disciplinary Action/@discopriest), you may do so by simply following the link at the beginning of the paragraph. Go forth and look epic.
So my dear little hoarders, if you haven't begun your quest to find the perfect outfit for your character(s) before 4.3, may the above resources guide you in your way. Until next week, stay fashionable.

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Bring Me The Head Of...Oh Wait
Happy Thursday hoarders! It is time for a week long overdue Hoarders post. What is this week's topic all about? Well, if you haven't guessed it by now, it's all about witches, pumpkins, and the Headless Horseman himself. That's right, this week's post is all about Hallow's End.
Hallow's End in Azeroth is that special time of year when the Headless Horseman comes out of hiding to plague us all with fire and his rhythmic rhymes. This year is no different, though this time around we have new ways of getting out Masks for all Occasions achievement, new pets and items, and actual currency to buy our missing items with (masks, that damn cloth pumpkin helm, and the Sinister Squashling). What all can you add to your collection this year? Well read on down the list and see what you're missing.
Title
The Hallowed
Mount(s)
The Horseman's Reins - This item can be found in a Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking For Dungeon tool once daily (.4% drop rate). Very sinister and slick looking horse model mount. It even flies!
Magic Broom - Want to scoot around on a broom like the Wicked Witch of the West? This item can be found in a Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking For Dungeon tool once daily, or gained from a Crudely Wrapped Gift received when you successfully put out the fires in starting zone villages, to be completed once daily. If your RNG sucks you can purchase one from Chub and Dorothy for 150 Tricky Treats but beware, this item only lasts for the duration of the Hallow's End festival. Any other ride-able broom to be found in game suffers the same, sad fate.
Currency
Tricky Treat - Collect these from Hallow's End related quests and dailies. This item can be found in a Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking For Dungeon tool once daily. It is also contained in a Handful of Treats. Handful of Treats is gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland
Pet(s)
Feline Familiar - May be purchased from Chub and Dorothy for 150 Tricky Treats. Cute little black cat pet that sports a witch's hat. It will even mount up on its own broom when you hop onto a flying mount!
Creepy Crate - This is a crate. Not any ordinary crate however, oh no. This crate is CREEPY MAN. It burps out smoke and causes little animals to mysteriously disappear. If you'd like a Creepy Crate of your own, simply start the questline with Missing Heirlooms (A)/Missing Heirlooms (H) and follow it to the end.
Gear
Hallowed Helm - Required for the achievement Sinister Calling. Often found in a Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking For Dungeon tool once daily (36% drop rate). It is often also contained in a Handful of Treats. Handful of Treats is gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland (5% drop rate). May also be found in the Crudely Wrapped Gift received when you successfully put out the fires in starting zone villages, to be completed once daily (.08% drop rate). If your RNG luck is completely dismal, you may purchase this helm from Chub and Dorothy for 150 Tricky Treats.
The Horseman's Horrific Helmet - Drops from the Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking For Dungeon tool once daily (3% drop rate).
Band of Ghoulish Glee - Agility ring (23%)
Seal of the Petrified Pumpkin - Strength ring (23%)
The Horseman's Signet - Hit caster ring (23%)
Wicked Witch's Ring - Spirit caster ring (23%)
Rings all drop from the Headless Horseman himself upon his defeat. It is possible to repeatedly farm him for these items. While these items are unique, you may wear The Horseman's Signet and Wicked Witch's Ring together.
Fun Items
Penny Pouch - Has a .01% chance to drop from the Headless Horseman himself according to Wowhead.com, but is often contained in a Handful of Treats. Handful of Treats is gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland.
Tooth Pick - Required for That Sparkling Smile. Drops from Handful of Treats, or if you have terrible RNG luck you may purchase this item from Chub and Dorothy for 2 Tricky Treats.
Weighted Jack-o'-Lantern - Needed for the achievement Check Your Head. Reward from the quests "Let the Fires Come!" and Stop the Fires! Also can be gained from a Crudely Wrapped Gift and from looting the Headless Horseman's corpse (40% drop). Can be used all year 'round. Have fun plaguing your friends with the plopping pumpkins onto their heads!
Wands
Wands needed for the achievement The Masquerade. In the event that all of the wands that are needed haven't been received through various Handful of Treats drops, they may be purchased from Darla and Stymie for 2 Tricky Treats a piece. Group up with a friend and have them zap you (or you may zap them) with the following:
Bat, Ghost, Leper Gnome, Ninja, Pirate, Random*, Skeleton, Wisp
*The "Random" wand does not need to be used to complete the achievement.
Masks
You must collect 24 different masks for the achievement A Mask for All Occasions and The Mask Task. Each mask has a random drop chance from Handful of Treats, which are gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland. They may also be found in a Loot-Filled Pumpkin, which you get for killing the Headless Horseman via the Looking for Dungeon tool once daily. If your RNG luck is particularly horrible for a few of the masks, you may purchase them from Farina and Spanky for 2 Tricky Treats a piece.
See A Mask for All Occasions for the complete list of masks necessary for the achievement. Yes I'm being lazy and not linking all 24 separate masks.
Buff Masks - These are new and may be purchased from Farina and Spanky for 5 Tricky Treats a piece.
Murloc Female Mask/Murloc Male Mask - Agility boost
Naga Female Mask/Naga Male Mask - Intellect boost
Ogre Female Mask/Ogre Male Mask - Stamina boost

G.N.E.R.D.S. - Once a buff food, now just something to make you look "intelligent." Sold by Farina and Spanky for 2 Tricky Treats a piece and has a random drop chance from Handful of Treats, which are gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland. Still required for the achievement G.N.E.R.D. Rage.
Pyroblast Cinnamon Ball - Once a buff food, now just something to make you look "hot." Sold by Farina and Spanky for 2 Tricky Treats a piece and has a random drop chance from Handful of Treats, which are gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland.

And that is more or less all of the available goodies for this holiday folks. If you haven't started looking for that Halloween costume for your favorite character or began your journey across Azeroth in search of those oh so tricky treats, I suggest you get a move on. Hallow's End finishes up this coming Monday, October 31st. Time is getting short, so get to hoarding!

Buff Items/Candies
Chewy Fel Taffy - Once a buff food, now just something to make you look "wicked." Sold by Farina and Spanky for 2 Tricky Treats a piece and has a random drop chance from Handful of Treats, which are gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland.
Soothing Spearmint Candy - Once a buff food, now just something to make you look "cool." Sold by Farina and Spanky for 2 Tricky Treats a piece and has a random drop chance from Handful of Treats, which are gathered from the candy buckets located in various inns around Azeroth and Outland.

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Bitten By Frost
Happy Thursday hoarders! It's been a long while since I've done a publication of Hoarders: Azeroth Edition and I apologize for that. You see I've been on the hunt for several elusive somethings as of late, but we're not going to get into the details of that of that this week. Oh nononono...we're going to be covering another beast known as the Frostbitten achievement.
The last topic that Hoarders covered prior to Brewfest was Bloody Rare. The plan was to continue on with this rare theme and also cover Northrend's version, Frostbitten. Today my friends we follow through with this plan. Let's get on with the list, shall we?
First, you need some weapons.
Addons
- Download NPCScan, fly over zones, profit. If a rare pops up on your screen (big noise, the screen will flash red) it will give you a little image of what it just saw, along with the name. If you click on that image (near the bottom of your screen, center) it will target the mob. Thanks to the handy-dandy new targeting system there should no longer be any crazy guess work with finding the mob.
- Download NPCScan Overylay, fly over the colored zones of the rares you have not killed yet, profit. Go into options and enable the ability to always track all mobs. If you accidently cache a mob (tamed hunter pets such as Nuramoc will do this even in cities such as Stormwind or Orgrimmar) and do not have this feature enabled, where a mob's patting area is located will be lost to you. Unless of course you have a super memory.
- Clear your NPCScan cache often! Directions are on the download page.
Tips and Tricks
- The last I knew rare spawns were tied to their own zones. This means that a rare spawning in Borean Tundra will not affect the spawns in Storm Peaks. There are theories claiming otherwise, but my gut tells me to stick with the theory that timers are attached to their own zones, not to each other.
- It is highly possible that more than one spawn can be up at a time per zone. It is also highly possible to have spawns happen within minute of each other. There have been reports done by a few people that claim to have seen Dirkee and Vyragosa up at the same time, so I assume that it is possible for it to happen in other zones as well.
- Most rares in Northrend have an independent spawn timer with the exception of Vyragosa and the Time-Lost Proto Drake, who are purposely tied to one another.
- It is possible that each zone has a rare spawn "cap", limiting the number of rares to pop in a zone to two. This is a theory of mine based on the fact that I haven't heard of more than two rare spawns being killed in a zone during a certain window (most spawn windows are 6-8 hours minimum).
- It is possible that many mobs can despawn after a given amount of time if left unkilled/tamed. I have no personal confirmations on this information,
- On occasion a hostile mob who patrols too closely to a town *may* get killed by NPCs. This is rare though, as far as rare events happening to rare mobs go.
- Group up and farm with a friend or two. Not only is it socially fun, but it allows you to cover more ground much more quickly. Time is money friend! It's also a killer.
- While it is by no means necessary, the faster the flying you have the better. Top of the line training + class/spec speed boosts + guild movement speed increases = a much quicker and smoother farm. As I said in the previous bullet, time is money and can make or break your kill.
- Don't just camp one place unless you're down to your last rare. Jump between spawn points of the rares that you need on a regular basis. If you do it one by one, you may call Outland home for ages.
- Take breaks! I know first hand how stressful and consuming rare hunting can be. You will go bloody bonkers if you don't take regular breaks. Do your best to only farm x amount of hours a day/week to prevent burn out and to save your precious sanity. Though if you're going for Bloody Rare and/or Frostbitten you may be half off your rocker anyways.
Yes, much of these tips/tricks are copied and pasted from the Bloody Rare post. I'm being a tad bit lazy, but I believe these tips to still be valid.
Now you need the knowledge.

As I've said before and I'll say it again, these guys are called rares for a reason. While you may get lucky and get some of these on your first try, many of these rares will make you wait. Patience, the will power to keep going, and a touch of insanity will serve you well with working on this particular achievement.
Before you head out on your mission please button up your jackets and slip on your favorite pair of warm mitties. Whenever you finally return to the nice warm inn that you call home have yourself a cup of hot cocoa for a job well done. Happy hunting out there hoarders, and try not to get to frost bitten!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - It's Brewfest, Bro!
Happy belated Thursday all! As the title states above, it is indeed Brewfest once again. It's a time of drunken brawls, brew maidens, and sausages. The sound of whips hitting ram hide fills the air, the scent of hops and vomit linger about, and you never know when a drill filled with little men will pop up from beneath your feet. Ah yes, it is Brewfest indeed. Had the pirates stuck around for more than a day, they certainly wouldn't be asking "...but why is the rum gone?" because, well, they'd be far too tanked on the latest and greatest of Dwarven brews.
As it is with all of the major meta holidays that are offered up in Azeroth, Brewfest brings with it a title, a barrel full of achievements, and of course many items in which you can hoard away in your bank. Let us get to the list of collectables, shall we?
Title(s)
Brewmaster
Achievement(s)
Brew of the Month *
Brew of the Year
Direbrewfest *
Disturbing the Peace
Does Your Wolpertinger Linger? *
Down With the Dark Iron *
Drunken Stupor
Have Key, Will Travel *
Strange Brew (Alliance) / Strange Brew (Horde)
The Brewfest Diet *
* Indicates the achievements required to complete the Brewmaster/Brewmaster meta. The Brewmaster achievement is required for the What A Long Strange Trip It's Been (Alliance/Horde) meta achievement.
Trinket(s)
Bitterer Balebrew Charm - A stamina trinket that let's you summon the Black Brewmaiden! Unless you're in greens or Cataclysm starts to suddenly favor stam stacking (unlikely), this trinket is more for fun. Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Bubblier Brightbrew Charm - A stamina trinket that let's you summon the Brewmaiden! Like the trinket above, it's really just more for fun. The flavor of text and use on these trinkets are neat at least! Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Brawler's Trophy - Hey tanks, Blizz heard that you like dodge. They figured that since you were all brawlers, that they'd give you more dodge to dodge with as you dodged them boss smacks to the face. All in all not a bad trinket. Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Coren's Chilled Chromium Coaster - A blanket crit/attack power trinket for all melee DPS. Might be a good upgrade from a ilvl 333 trinket, but most 346 trinkets will beat out this trinket's DPS for most classes I think. Sad, but true. Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Mithril Stopwatch - A blanket crit/spell power trinket for all caster DPS. Overall not a terrible trinket, though certain caster types may find themselves reforging out of the crit in favor of a different stat. Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Petrified Pickled Egg - An intellect trinket with a haste proc. While I'm not sure how this trinket holds up against 346 or 359 trinkets, it may very well be a solid upgrade for several folks depending on what you have access to, your play-style, your class, and what you are/are not stacking stat wise. Drops from Coren Direbrew.
Weapon(s)
Direbrew's Bloodied Shanker - BoP agility dagger. WHY ARE YOU BOP?!?! *Ahem* A relatively decent slowish dagger (2.00 speed) that drops from the Key-Shaped Treasure Chest that you receive upon your daily kill of Coren Direbrew. Not sure on the exact drop rate, but considering I've already received two of these at the time of writing this, I'm going to assume that it's not horribly rare. Not incredibly common, but not horribly rare.
Tremendous Tankard O' Terror - BoE agility mace. A decent weapon for an enhancement shaman or a rogue who is in the market for a 2.60 speed weapon. Drops from the Key-Shaped Treasure Chest that you receive upon your daily kill of Coren Direbrew. Not sure on the exact drop rate, but seems fairly common. Won't replace your 259 weapons, but is an alright upgrade over 353's.
Item(s)
Brewfest Keg Pony - When you use this item it will behave as it was a non-combat companion, taking the place of any non-combat pet you already had summoned (yes, his sloshing booze scares away even the ballsiest of Westfall Chickens). However, upon use he will not be placed into your spell book, taking residence along side your other non-combat pets. He will hog up a bag slot.
Brefest Pony Keg - It's a keg, what more could you want?
Costume(s)
Purple Brewfest Hat
or Green Brewfest Hat
or Brown Brewfest Hat
or Blue Brewfest Hat
+
Brewfest Regalia
or Brewfest Dress
+
Brewfest Boots
or Brewfest Slippers
=
Brewfest Garb, needed for the Disturbing the Peace achievement.
Belbi's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles (Alliance Only)
Blix's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles (Horde Only)
Mount(s)
Great Brewfest Kodo - 24% drop rate from the Key-Shaped Treasure Chest that you receive upon your daily kill of Coren Direbrew. You can only obtain one Treasure Chest per day. While I see people running around on this mount, I'm convinced that it doesn't actually exist.
Swift Brewfest Ram - 24% drop rate from the Key-Shaped Treasure Chest that you receive upon your daily kill of Coren Direbrew. You can only obtain one Treasure Chest per day.
Brewfest Ram - While this mount technically no longer exists, unless you managed to obtain it prior to it's removal of course, you can transform your current mount to temporarily mimic the look of this classic mount, or if you're horde, to mimic the look of a Brewfest Kodo. To do this simply purchase Fresh Brewfest Hops, or Fresh Dwarven Brewfest Hops/Fresh Goblin Brewfest Hops from your local Brewfest vendor via Brewfest Prize Tokens.
Pet(s)
Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm
Wolpertinger
There are many, many items that I did not list here that you can find at the Brewfest vendors. Various brews and foods are available, all you must do is explore the Brewfest grounds! Well, so long as the Dark Iron Dwarves aren't invading that is, which happens at the top and bottom of every hour. For you leveling folk out there, also remember that you can get a 10% experience boost that lasts for two hours if you attend the tapping of the keg! This ceremony happens at 6:15am and 6:15pm of every day, so snatch up your extra xp while it's still available. Brewfest will last until October 6th.
That's all I have for this week folks. Until Brewfest is over please find yourself a designated driver and keep your ale cold. Cheers!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Well That's Just Bloody Rare
Hello hoarders, and welcome to your Thursday! This time around I have decided to cover an achievement based on hunting the rares of Outland in honor of the rare killing spree I went on earlier this week, aka Bloody Rare. I do mean killing spree. Seven Outland rares in just an hour or two. Insanity I say!
"But I don't know anything about hunting rares! I mean, I found Seething Hate once in Grizzly Hills but I don't know how to find any others." If this is you, don't worry! We all begin somewhere and luckily for you I'm going to help you start off with a few tips and tricks, along with giving you one of those good ol' lists that Hoarders: Azeroth Edition is so well known for. Alright, maybe not exactly well known, but this series is famous in my own mind!
Things Yo' Momma Didn't Teach You
- Multiple rare spawns can be up in the same zone at the same time. I've personally killed 2-3 in a single zone just minutes apart.
- While you may very well find rare mobs at random times during the day, I've had my best luck between the hours of 2am-5:30am CST (US) the morning after a server reset. This any reset really (hello rolling restarts after a major patch!). Depending on the type of restart, be it rolling or full on maintenance, you may have to do some juggling of numbers to get your times just right, but I've found that "sweet spot" three and a half hour window to be prime right after a rolling restart.
Though if you're going for Bloody Rare and/or Frostbitten (which I'll cover the tips and tricks for next week) you may be half off your rocker anyways.
- Now is a prime time to farm! For those of us non-raiding achievement junkies, a new major patch is wonderful for us. Most folks are busy with their raiding of new bosses, PvPers are starting up a new season, and most people are more about getting their precious few hours of sleep instead of flying around in boredom, killing the mobs that you're after.
These Are Not the Rares You Seek
Hellfire Peninsula
Fulgorge (He may need some closer observation. Apparently cannot be targeted while he's underground.)
Mekthorg the Wild
Vorakem Doomspeaker
Zangarmarsh
Bog Lurker
Coilfang Emissary
Marticar
Terokkar Forest
Crippler
Doomsayer Jurim
Okrek
Nagrand
Goretooth (Tamable)
Voidhunter Yar
Shadowmoon Valley
Ambassador Jerrikar
Collidus the Warp-Watcher
Kraator
Blade's Edge
Hemathion
Morcrush
Speaker Mar'grom
Netherstorm
Chief Engineer Lorthander
Ever-Core the Punisher
Nuramoc (Tamable)
*Please note that there is a third rare that is shown on NPCScan Overlay for Nagrand. He is however not required for the Bloody Rare achievement.
Remember, these creatures are called "rare" for a reason. You cannot simply log on one day and hope to find them all in one swoop. This achievement will take some time and above all, patience. If you're the type to get flustered easily and don't have the stamina to take on that which is rare hunting, this achievement is not for you. If you have the backbone for it though, you shall have yourself a nifty little achievement in no time. By no time I mean this could potentially be a huge time sink for you. Attempt at your own daring!
This week's Hoarders: Azeroth Edition is brought to you by lack of sleep, odd references that I'm not sure I myself completely understand, and the letter z. Therefor, I think that about does it for this week. Happy hunting hoarders!

- Multiple rare spawns can be up in the same zone at the same time. I've personally killed 2-3 in a single zone just minutes apart.
- While you may very well find rare mobs at random times during the day, I've had my best luck between the hours of 2am-5:30am CST (US) the morning after a server reset. This any reset really (hello rolling restarts after a major patch!). Depending on the type of restart, be it rolling or full on maintenance, you may have to do some juggling of numbers to get your times just right, but I've found that "sweet spot" three and a half hour window to be prime right after a rolling restart.

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Midsummer Sizzle
Welcome to another Thursday Hoarders! I certainly hope you've all been having a lovely week, one that is hopefully quite a bit warmer than the one we're having up here in my neck of the woods.
That video doesn't really have anything directly to do with the Midsummer Fire Festival or Hoarders: Azeroth Edition, but I figured eh, fire festival = songs kinda sorta almost about fire. Alright, maybe I was too lazy to take/find a proper screen shot. *Sigh* Anyways, what all can you hoard during this holiday? Well, let us pull up our sleeves and dig into the ever famous list!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - A Salty Bloodsail Admiral
"I heard you want'd to see me, Admiral?"
"I did, helmswoman. The Capt'n wants Serenity out to sea by dawn's light. Have her sails been mended and her hull stocked?" inquired Bloodsail Admiral Kelebek.
"Aye, though what kind of crazy fish chase does the Capt'n have us on this time?"
The admiral took a moment's pause to stroke the blood red feathers of her favorite parrot, one of several who roosted about on the ship in question. With her attention still mainly focused on the bird she said "I don't rightly know. We could be chasin' after loot or we could be looking for some sort of legendary sea creature. I'm sure the Capt'n will let us know once we unfurl the sails and set a course." Kelebek ceased stroking the vibrant birds chest and looked the human in the eye. "Have the sacrifices to Neptulon been made? I don't want this ship and her crew to go through what it did last time."
"It has been done."
"Shiny. Get some rest, the Capt'n will be eager to set sail."
The dark skinned woman took her leave. Kelebek listened as the helmswoman's heavy booted footfalls thunked into the distance. She sighed and said to the bird "What do you think, Jane? This new little Kaelei seems to be doing well." The bird made an aggressive gesture. "Keep it up and I'll feed you to that River cat. This trip is going to be rough as is, ain't need you nor anyone else acting up, savvy?" The bird responded by ruffling up her feathers and then set off to roost somewhere on Serenity.
Kelebek took one final look at the sunset from her balcony at the Salty Sailor Tavern. With another sigh she thought to herself "My gut tells me that we're going to get a bit salty. Might as well get my bits of precious together and find the Capt'n. We got a job to do, even if I don't much care to find out what it is."
She turned gracefully in her black leather boots and crossed threshold of her quarters.

Hello all and welcome to a very...errr...different type of Hoarders. I thought I'd take a bit of a break from my typical list style and try my hand a combination of wannabe role playing text, mixed in with a side of how-to. Chances are the lists that you all know and love shall be back soon enough, but if you all prefer this version of Hoarders to the standard set up, let me know!
Today I thought that we'd cover two different titles: Bloodsail Admiral and Salty. Both are summer flavored, fun, and a swashbucklin' good time to have.

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Don't Grow Up To Be Cowboys
Happy Thursday (okay, due to technical difficulties it is now early Saturday morning) all, it's time for another installment of Hoarders: Azeroth Edition! Not only is Hoarders finally back after an unintentional hiatus, but May is Mounts Month. So get our your gold and polish up that saddle, this week we'll be covering all of the mounts you can purchase after you've repped up with a few factions.
There are many, many mounts to be gained and purchased within World of Warcraft. Well over 200 different mounts are available, and if you'd like to track which one's you have already collected I definitely recommend using the siteWarcraft Mounts. To help you along with your collection though I will be listing the many different ways on how to obtain the pimp mount(s) of your choice. This week we'll be going over all of the mounts you may purchase after you gain an exalted status with a given faction. If you are part of a faction, you may buy the available mounts without being exalted (for an example, if you're a Night Elf you don't need to be exalted with Darnasses to purchase all of the kitty mounts). All of the following factions are rather cut and dry with their rep grind/purchase of their available mounts save for the Argent Tournament mounts. For the AT mounts you must have completed and opened up the vendor for the faction you wish to purchase from, be exalted with said faction (for example, to get the Stormwind Steed you must have both opened up that vendor at the AT grounds plus have Stormwind exalted), and gather enough tokens in which to purchase the mount you're after (items from Baradin's Wardens/Hellscream's Reach also require tokens earned via dailies/Tol Barad wins, there's just no complicated unlocking process once you're exalted with your faction). Everything else is fairly simple with only requiring simple dailies, questing, or wearing a tabard through dungeons.
Now that all that babble is over with, shall we get onto the list? I think so!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Mixology
1 WITCH. Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd.
2 WITCH. Thrice and once, the hedge-pig whin'd.
3 WITCH. Harpier cries:—'tis time! 'tis time!
1 WITCH. Round about the caldron go;
In the poison'd entrails throw.—
Toad, that under cold stone,
Days and nights has thirty-one;
Swelter'd venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i' the charmed pot!
ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
2 WITCH. Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
3 WITCH. Scale of dragon; tooth of wolf;
Witches' mummy; maw and gulf
Of the ravin'd salt-sea shark;
Root of hemlock digg'd i the dark;
Liver of blaspheming Jew;
Gall of goat, and slips of yew
Sliver'd in the moon's eclipse;
Nose of Turk, and Tartar's lips;
Finger of birth-strangled babe
Ditch-deliver'd by a drab,—
Make the gruel thick and slab:
Add thereto a tiger's chaudron,
For the ingrediants of our caldron.
ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
2 WITCH. Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.
~ William Shakespeare, Macbeth

Welcome to another week come and gone Hoarders. This particular week has seemed to have passed unusually quick; perhaps I should lay of the haste potions. The following are the obtainable Alchemy recipes that are not learned via a trainer, but are either gained through either reputations or drops. Since I blew all of your minds with some Shakespeare already, I shall keep this intro short. On to the list!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - The Chef's Cookbook
Hello and welcome to Chef Saz's Kitchen of Exotic Food and Drink! Today we shall be opening up the Master Cookbook of Azeroth to explore the many types of different foods and beverages that players are able to obtain and consume within World of Warcraft.
Once upon a time many years ago a friend and I came with a hair-brained idea that we'd move to California or Hawii and buy a shop on the beach. The shop would be called "Tubas and Tacos" and would essentially be two businesses in one. The tuba part would be an instrument repair and retail shop ran by yours truly, while the taco part would be a taco stand/general Mexican themed place of tasty goodness run by my friend. This idea was so epic that a third friend said she would come along and help out with both parts of the shop. Unfortunately like all brilliant hair-brained ideas, this one was simply not to be. I never got that degree in instrument repair and the three of us have all gone our separate ways both in location and seemingly in close friendship (they're still good people, we just don't keep in touch to often).
In real life I'm more or less a fail cook. Sure I can make some decent tacos and can cook a pretty mean frozen pizza, but don't ever expect me to whip up a fancy turkey dinner or anything. I tend mess up Ramen when I have to cook it in a pot (I'm a master at the microwave though!) so if I didn't have others to cook for me I'd basically resort to eating cereal from the box. However my pixelated counterpart, Saz the epic enhancement shaman of uberness, has earned her "Chef" title. You name it, she will learn it and whip it up for you in a jiffy. Through her I am vicariously an awesome chef.
I'm sure by this point dear reader you are wondering about what types of recipes you could potentially learn within Azeroth and what kind of bonus they carry when their products are consumed. Well there are 208 different recipes currently active in game, so let's get to the list. Shall we?

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Skulls in My Closet
Hey hoarders, welcome to another installment of Hoarders: Azeroth Edition. This week Hoarders is going to take a turn for the weird. I know that there's some strange folk out there and this particular installment is aimed just at them (or you, if you're one of those strange folk who happens to read this blog). What exactly will we be talking about? Well, we'll be covering skulls.
Yes, skulls.
Now skulls are collectible for many different personality types. Perhaps you're really into Archaeology, or maybe you specialize in bone recognition to help solve the crimes of the world like the tv show, or maybe you are just a freak that likes to collect skulls who makes chairs out of them. Regardless of why you like them, here is a list as to which skull-type items are collectible in World of Warcraft.

Organization
Alright, so now your backpack is fully pimped out, but how on earth do you organize all those slots and find that one items that always seems to disappear on you? Well, there are addons for that! My personal favorite is called ArkInventory and can be found over on Curse. It basically mashes all of your bags together so that it appears that you have one large bag. It's quite customizable (meaning, you can disable this addon for your guild bank or personal bank, but have it active for your character's personal bag, among other customizable options), has a search function for both your bags and can also search for items server wide. This is definitely one addon I find myself not being able to live without.
So there you have it folks, a complete list of things in which to stuff all of your hoarded items into! If you have any storage-based items to add to the list, an addon that pertaining to bag sorting/organization/whatever else, or just feel like saying something, please feel free to leave a comment! Until next week when I put together a list of items to fill these bags with, happy hoarding!

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Coin Purse
"Honey, can you hold my purse?" I'm sure this is any man's most absolutely favorite question in the whole wide world. He better hang on tight to his significant other's purse though if she just so happens to be a hoarder. By hoarder I mean collector. Yeah, just a simple collector. A coin collector.
Why someone would actually carry around their coin collection in a purse is beyond me, but I'm just going with it. Maybe she really likes the slots at the casino? Hmmm. Let's try to start that intro again, shall we?
Hi, and welcome to this week's Hoarders: Azeroth Edition! Every Thursday Saz compiles a list of fun and collectible items found only in Azeroth (okay, occasionally Outlands as well) and babbles on like a silly buffoon. This week shall be about coins and the sacks you can put them in! For some reason that just sounds dirty...

Titanium Seal of Dalaran - All of the coins mentioned above are fished up in the fountain near the Alliance Inn in Dalaran. Once you collect all of the coins (you may vendor them after fishing them up) and gain each of the three achievements (There's Gold in That There Fountain/Silver in the City/A Penny For Your Thoughts) you will complete the achievement The Coin Master and be awarded the Titanium Seal of Dalaran. This coin can be "flipped" and will result in either a heads or tails.
Coin of Ancestry - They're kind of like Pokemon; if you collect them all, you get achievements! 1/5/10/25/50 They are also used as currency for some fancy items, such as threads that will make you look fly and things that go BOOM! and are sparkly. Collect them from your local elder during the Lunar Festival.
Pets
Fortune Coin - Summons up a piggy. No longer available.
Golden Pig Coin - It's a gold piggy. You have to live in China to get it.
Silver Pig Coin - It's a silver piggy. Again, you have to live in China to get it.
Sacks
A Sack of Coins - Open it! It contains the next item on the list.
Old Moneybag - A 6 slot inventory bag. Sadly there's no money left in it.
A Bulging Coin Purse - Someone used to give this to you, and it was full of money! Whoever used to give it out must have gone broke though, for this item is no longer in game.
Fat Sack of Coins - Find them in the Relic Coffers in Blackrock Depths. Yes, it is full of coinage.
Small Sack of Coins - Find these in the Relic Coffers of Blackrock Depths as well. Not quite so full of coinage, but there's a little in there!
Very Fat Sack of Coins - Dropped by Sultan Oogah in Uldum. Contains a few coins to line your pocket with!
Penny Pouch - A pouch that's only big enough to fit a single penny.
Trinkets
Corpse Tongue Coin / Corpse Tongue Coin (Heroic) - Coins. They make you lucky, and more likely to dodge! Comes from ICC lootship.
Coren's Lucky Coin - Again, a coin to make you lucky enough to dodge a bad guy's attack. Unlucky for those of you who do not have one yet, for they are no longer found in game.
Vendor Trash
Solid Gold Coin - Comes from a Bag of Fishing Treasures, and sells for a gold! How fitting.
Ancient Coin - Comes from a Bag of Fishing Treasures, and vendors quite nicely.
Bracelet of Jade and Coins - Archaeology trash stuffs. Vendors gud.
Coin from Eldre'Thalas - More Archaeology trash stuffs.
Random/Other
Bloodscalp Coin
Gurubashi Coin
Hakkair Coin
Razzashi Coin
Sandfury Coin
Skullsplitter Coin
Vilebranch Coin
Witherbark Coin
Zulian Coin
These coins were once gathered from the raid Zul'Gurub and turned in for reputation with the Zandalar Tribes. While Zul'Gurub has ceased to be a raid, and the Zandalar have vacated their island and are no longer to be found currently by players, the coins have remained in game.
Venture Coin - "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Was once a PvP currency in Wrath of the Lich King. The quests that awarded this item now instead award Honor Points.
Weather-Beaten Coin - Dropped by "Good-Boy" Bruce in the Cape of Stranglethorn. Begins a quest.
I believe that's it for this round my friends. Now go out into the world and collect those coins! Just be sure to hide your collection well, for I hear that dragons are rather fond of treasures such as these. I also hear that there's one rather large dragon currently running a muck currently in Azeroth, melting everything in sight.
Happy hoarding!
