Today's breakfast topic over on WoW Insider was a pretty neat one, so I figured I'd put down my response here as well so I can look back at it someday and giggle. For those of you who do not wish to click the link, the topic of the day was asking "If Blizzard made an NPC after you in game, what would it be, what would he or she be named, and where would he or she be located?"

Chances are I'd end up being one of two NPCs.
Saz, Hoarder of Random Junk - Located on some farm out in the middle of nowhere. The yard would have copious amounts of non-combat pets wandering about, the stables and fields over filled with mounts; inside the house you'd find a library of useless books, gear strewn about everywhere, and random items on every surface. My NPC would sell a random rare trinket to those who find it, as well as offer a pet to purchase (preferably a little spectral spirit wolf, I am an Enhancement Shaman after all).
Kelebek the Wanderer - My Feral Druid would wander the world, quite literally. You'd find her stealthing through the forests of Feralas, running across the dunes of Uldum, stalking through the grasses of Stranglethorn, and pouncing through the snow drifts of Northrend. If you manage to find her she'd offer some sage advice, remain for a minute or two, then stealth away. She wouldn't have a real purpose, no spawn timer, and no real set path. She would simply be one of those Easter egg personalities that you randomly stumble upon.

The probability of either of these NPCs ever getting created are one in a bajillion, but it's still a really fun idea to toy around with. Maybe if I stop slacking and start writing more (and get my paws on some serious hardware to start making machinima) I can better my odds at helping to make this happen. Yeah okay, I don't have a shot in hell, but it's still a sort of motivator. Hmm...*Gets back to work on this month's series for Hoarders: Azeroth Edition*

I'm back! Kind of...
What's going on everyone, I hope you all are having a great weekend! I know that I said that I was going to talk about any site updates I have on Fridays or something of that sort buuuut given all the fun stuff that was going on with it being April Fool's and all, that update got pushed to whenever it is that this will be going up. Along with the WoS updates I'm also going to pimp out a few different sites I think you all should check out and catch you all up on what's going down on my side of things, both irl and in game...yes, I said IN GAME!!
Blog Updates
- There is a new poll up on the right side of the page, please click as many buttons as your little hearts desire. I thoroughly enjoyed the results from the last poll. Many thanks to those of you who participated! Here's the final tally:
- My "Recent Achievements" feature is no longer a giant white blob! I'll get into why that is in a bit. Apologies about the temporary eye sore.
- As I said last week, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or anything else of that nature that relate to World of Saz or even just something random to ask, please don't hesitate! My email is under the About/Contact tab and I keep a close eye on my Twitter account for those of you who would prefer to contact me through that medium (the button is up top).

Not only is this site home to the Circle of Healing podcast, which is run by Dawn Moore (you may recognize that name from WoW Insider) and Kinaesthesia (from Vodka), but it also contains some excellent strategy videos plus and contains some very fun and still growing forums. Give 'am a look-see and if anyone asks, Saz sent you.
- Gaming Zone Forums are rather new, but I must say these guys have spunk. The goal of this forum is to provide a place for gamers of all types to come together to hang out. The fellas over there are super friendly, so feel free to swing by, make an account, and say hi. I have a good feeling about those forums, so go help make them epic!
Saz Updates
First things first, I must state that I have some of the best damn friends a girl could ask for. They're also my WoW friends, so all you folks out there who think real friendships via the internet are impossible, I'd really like to beg to differ. With that stated, I'll now proceed to go down my list of awesome (please bear with me...I'm not attempting to brag at all, I'm just incredibly excited about these updates and at the same time incredibly grateful).
- My Priesty friend who I've mentioned a few times here on WoS has done one of the most sweet things I think that anyone has ever done for me: she has sent me her old Macbook. This means that as soon as I get my mits on a new power cord, I'll be able to play WoW semi-smoothly...or at least well enough that I won't quite suffer from as much motion sickness that I currently do with my current poor quality machine. So. Freakin'. Excited! Also some love must be sent to Mrs. Priesty's husband, since he relinquished his hold on said computer, enabling her to send it to me. : P
- Along with that "new" Macbook came a prepaid WoW card, enabling me to play WoW for the next two months. While I may not have Cataclysm as of yet, I have managed to wiggle my way back to Azeroth. Seriously, my Priest friend is completely and utterly made of awesome.
- Due to the fact that I am now back to playing WoW, my Armory page will now show up. I've gotten a few messages from folks wondering why my Armory page wasn't showing, and here's why: after about three months or so Blizzard considers your account idle. Idle accounts are "hidden" and will no longer show the character's profile despite their name still showing up in the general search list. I'm sure it somehow saves server space for them in the long run or some such, quite frankly I'm not 100% sure why characters "disappear" when they're idle, but that's just my guess. Saz is back though, so please fret no longer! Hopefully soon she will be a sexy level 85 like the rest of you ; )
- Earlier this week (or was it last week already?) WoW Insider had a contest on both their site and on Twitter. The contest they held on their site was that of a random drawing for a D.I.S.C.O. loot card, and on Twitter they had entries explain why they thing they should win a Goblin Weather Machine. I entered both on a whim, and apparently they rather liked my answer on Twitter, and I won the Goblin Weather Machine! Thanks to the previously mentioned prepaid WoW card I was able to hop on and redeem this code last night. I kind of really geeked. I mean, not only is it a random item to use (I absolutely love random things that I can use whenever!) but it's also my first ever loot card. Soooo excited! So many thanks to WoW Insider for making me one very happy Shaman!

If any of you all try to get a hold of me in game and I don't respond right away, I apologize in advance. Currently I'm sporting some terrible FPS (at least until the Mac is up and running) and sometimes it takes quite a bit for things to load. Also, in the rare event that I have a DND up it's because I have let my little brother muck about on one of my characters. He's rather fascinated by the game you see, and his new favorite pastime is to take my Shaman and jump her off of cliffs (I have yet to expose him to my Druid and the wonders of bird form). He also rather likes taking adorable screen shots for me, which I will end this post with. I hope that you all have a wonderful week! <3

Hoarders: Azeroth Edition - Let's Play Catch!
Today Dawn Moore over on WoW Insider did a post asking "What little details do you hope make it into Cataclysm?" Now, I'm an avid WoW Insider reader, but prior to today, I've never commented on the posts. Why? Simply because I'm a bit shy outside of the little bubbles that I've created for myself. Today I stepped outside of my bubbles to comment on this particular post. Why did I do such a crazy thing? Well...she talked about collecting rocks.
Anyone who's known me for a while knows full well that I'm a bit of a pack rat. Honestly, if Hoarding: Buried Alive was to be aired in the land of Azeroth, my poor shaman and my alts would be featured in this series. My shaman would also undoubtedly be featured on Animal Planet's Confessions: Animal Hoarding. Because of this obsession with collecting, I felt the need to comment on how I think us collectors really need a closet and/or junk drawer. I also suggested that we get a new "toss-able" item called Dirty Balled-Up Socks...because really, wouldn't it be fun to toss dirty socks at people during a raid?
Now, the whole point of this post is to start up a new project. This idea was actually given to me by someone to replied to my comment on Dawn's topic. Someone by the name of Kylenne stated "I see a "Hoarders: Azeroth Edition" in your future." I'm not sure who this person is, but I dig their style.
So here you go, the first installment of what should be several of Hoarders: Azeroth Edition (yes, I completely love the title they gave). Many thanks to Kylenne, whoever you may be, for the idea and something to work on!

Today I'd like to talk about what I refer to as "toss-ables." These are little items, sometimes stackable, that you can literally play catch with in WoW. They're incredibly fun, and great for those guild get togethers or waiting around for a raid to begin.
Happy Fun Rock - I love the Happy Fun Rock. The first time I experienced Happy Fun Rock was in Ulduar, waiting for a raid to begin. One of the druids in my guild at the time said over vent "Catch Saz!" and there it was in my bags. We then proceeded to play catch with it for several minutes. Needless to say, the Happy Fun Rock certainly made me, well, happy! You can find this fun little pebble in Dire Maul.
Heavy Leather Ball - Created by a leather worker and quite stackable, these little bad boys had caused an extended obsession in my guild back in BC and early WotLK. Our guild bank was always stacked with them in BC, I seemingly could never keep these buggers out of my bags, and they created great fun during those late night Naxx raids. How can you go wrong with leather balls, honestly?
Voodoo Skull - This item is as creepy as they come. Even just having this in your bags makes this item feel a bit taboo. The Voodoo Skull makes to be an excellent item for Halloween parties. Back in 2009 my guild actually hosted a small Halloween get together, and one of my guildmates came up with a game much like Hot Potato, but instead of a potato it contained the Voodoo Skull. The rules followed that of the RL game of Hot Potato, and whoever was left standing at the end received a prize. This particular game (along with the costume contest) was a great hit! Try your luck at getting this item in Zul'Aman.
Haunted Memento - The Haunted Memento is no longer obtainable, but it is throw-able! When you have this spooky little item in your bags, you become haunted by a spirit that follows you around much like how a non combat pet would. I definitely suggest only playing catch with this item with trusted friends.
Rotund Relic - I'm not familiar with this particular item. Apparently it can be pick pocketed from various mobs in Northrend. Sadly before today I hadn't even been aware of its existence. I suppose I'm just not equipped with the types of friends who lob womanly figured relics at my head...
Ethereal Essence Sphere - Another item that I'm sadly not familiar with. It's obtained through the Ethereal Soul-Trader pet who in turn is obtained via the Trading Card Game loot cards, and is a conjured item.
Paper Flying Machine - This item is obtainable via the Trading Card Game loot cards. Like the Ethereal Essence Spheres, it's considered a conjured item and sadly I have no personal fun memories of this item (yet).
Paper Zeppelin - Last, but certainly not least, we have the Paper Zeppelin. You can buy the kits for this item at the toy shop in Dalaran. It's considered a conjured item and does not stack. This item can become quite...fun. One night during a ToC raid we were waiting around for DC's (gotta love rough server nights) a few folks in the raid just so happened to have some kits in their bags, and they all decided that it would be fun to toss their Zeppelins at one of our raid members. Said raid member then decided that he was going to kite his growing flock of Zeppelins around the ToC arena. Needless to say, if you could suffer damage from these things being destroyed in your bags (yay mini explosions!), he would have had some severe death by zeppelinage.
One word: Epic.
