I can't even start getting ReforgeLite to balance stats.

Also, AMR can be forced to hit Hit/Exp caps if you don't want to be incrementally below. In Edit Weights, it's the "Enable "At Least" Mode" toggle.

On the other hand, RFL is handy for toons that don't have RoRo and it doesn't try to re-gem everything every time I get a new piece of gear for a 0.0001% dps increase, AMR can lock gems that are already in place but that isn't as simple as process as it could be.Rnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639116481859847718.post-3924002242866379112013-08-02T09:41:01.248-05:002013-08-02T09:41:01.248-05:00I've been using ReforgeLite for a while now. Most experienced players will tell you that this is completely unreasonable - stat weights are different for everyone and you really need to simulate your character to arrive at the stat weights that suit you. I think - nay, I KNOW - that any addon or program which claims to tell you exactly what you need which *isn't* simming your character first is wrong.

In terms of "accuracy" - what do you mean by this phrase? To me, it means "likelihood to get you the best possible outcome given your stat weights". In this case, AMR in the current release version is extremely good - as close to perfect as you are likely to get... UNLESS you use the Beta version, which guarantees you the best result possible every time.

In short, I think that AMR is excellent (perfect, even) at what it's meant to do - i.e. maximize your DPS by optimizing a score you've defined by giving it stat weights. If you've got the wrong weights, then it's your fault. If you're using the default weights, then you're naive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
